I am the Master Commander!

Four tests . . . three days . . . some of the most intense hours ever.
So this week I had four test that all opened on either Wednesday or Thursday. Three were multiple choice and one was a take home test of sorts. I took my easiest test Wednesday, my next easiest test Thursday and worked on my take home test Thursday night. As luck would have it the take home was FREAKIN' HARD and So I stayed up until 3 in the morning when I finally finished it. This was about the same time my roommates all came home from the midnight showing of Hunger Games. So on top of staying up until three, I had to work on a test while my roommates went and saw an epic movie, just like most other college students. Then this morning, I had early class so I had to get up while everyone else slept in. Surprisingly though, I haven't been too incredibly tired today. So I went to my first class, ate a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, went to my second class, went to lunch, went to my next class, turned in my take home final, studied, ate another PB and J, went to a review for my last test I needed to take, went and ate some more food, studied a little longer, went and took my test, aced it, speed walked home, and I am now eating chips and chili, just like I do practically every week. I have been gone for over 12 hours from my apartment, running on 5 hours of sleep, and this has been one great day full of basically studying and eating. Two of my favorite subjects. As I came out of the testing center tonight I threw up my arms and said "I am the Master Commander". No one was there, but still, it kind of feels good to say. Especailly because I don't really get nervous for tests, but I was nervous out of my mind for this one (kind of a catchy phrase, right?), so when I saw my score I was so relieved. Go Life!
Final Scores for this weeks tests:
Wednesday Test: 95.6%
Thursday Test: 94.5%
Friday Test: 93.6%
Take Home: 100%
Yup, this has been a pretty good week after all. Weird enough though, is that I don't think I'll make it to bed before midnight tonight. Heck Yeah!

Skateboarding . . . minor FAIL!

So I have my skateboard here at college and it's great to ride around (except that they're not allowed, but hey, rules are made to be broken). Anyway I have been wanting to ride it around any chance I get, which haven't been many. Today I decided to ride it to the grocery store just a block away. Unfortunately last night I stayed up pretty late studying so I've been pretty tired this whole day. Now, I'm not a great skateboarder, but I can ride it adequately. However on this day of tiredness, I had such a hard time balancing on the board. I swear the bolts were coming undone and the trucks were really lose or something because I was wobbling back and forth the whole time. I almost fell off about ten times and I did fall off once. Hopefully this is just due to the fact that I am tired and when I get more sleep I'll be able to ride again.  Go Sleep! and Go four tests in one weekend! Bring it on!

Sitting on the Front Row

So in Physics the other day I was talking to this guy before class started. We were sitting in the front row and he asked if I always sat in the front row in all my classes. I told him yes because I do indeed sit in the front, then I asked if he always sat in the front and he said not really because he doesn't like the front. I asked him why and he replied "Because I can't . . ." then looked kind of sheepish. I gladly finished for him "What? Text, look on facebook, and play games on your computer instead of pay attention in class?" He laughed "Yeah. I was going to say that but then I just realized how silly that sounded". Yes, I agree, it is silly that people come to class and just sit and text friends and look at facebook. Why do you even come to class if you do not pay attention? I don't know about everyone else, but I paid thousands of dollars to go to college to learn and gain knowledge. Not to text my friends nonstop all day long. Go front row sitters!
