Working Hard. . . Or Hardly Working

So I work with some pretty chill and extremely funny people. My 'sort of ' boss loves to joke around and plays tricks on the four of us working with him. So consequently we play tricks on him and basically anyone else who works with us. Today these two guys came and worked with us and before our break they put small traffic cones (like only a foot tall) on top of the van we ride in. So to get back at them, one of the girls I work with and I filled the whole cab of their truck with the traffic cones. Literally they were piled floor to ceiling, on the dashboard and everything. The looks on their faces when the saw what we did. . . priceless. The four of us plus my boss just sat in the van and laughed our heads off while the guys took the cones out of their truck. Good times.

this post has no title, except for what I just wrote

So I moved to a new apartment on monday. My parents and I were coming at 6 o'clock p.m. to move my stuff in, figuring that would be early enough that I would be able to check in and such. Not so. Aparently the main office closed at 5 and the person who lives in the main office either decided they didn't have to answer the door when people knocked or they were gone for the rest of the day and night. But really, who closes an office at 5, especially on a busy day when people are moving in and during the spring and summer, there is still plenty of daylight after 5. And also they need some better communication skills because no one told me what apartment I was living in or what time to move in and none of the paperwork said anything (and yes I read all the paperwork). Anyway as the story goes I crashed at a friends place overnight then after work the next day I finally found out where I was staying, got the key, and moved all my stuff, yet again. Success! Sort of. Welcome to the new apartment.
